Brooklyn In-Town Movers

Mitch grew up on Avenue Z and learned the borough on a dispatcher’s headset for nine seasons. He opened the 4th Avenue shop in 2018 so Brooklyn households could book a Brooklyn crew. Park Slope brownstone, Williamsburg loft, Cobble Hill garden floor: same signed flat figure, same W-2 movers.

What an in-town move costs

Job size Crew Flat figure
Studio walkup 2 movers, 1 truck From $645
1-bed brownstone 3 movers, 1 truck $215/hr block
2-bed garden floor 3 movers, 1 truck $215/hr block
3-bed townhouse 4 movers, 2 trucks Binding figure

How the day runs

  1. Anthony walks the rooms, video or in-person, writes the binding number
  2. Rachel files the COI to building management and pulls the ASP permit
  3. Marco’s crew loads from the stoop, drives, and sets every piece in the new room
  4. Yelena emails the final invoice the same evening — nothing held over the night

Brooklyn corners we cover

From the 5th Avenue stoops in Park Slope to the Bedford L stop and down to the Verrazano on a clear morning — if it’s in the borough, we know the loading angle and the freight-elevator switch. — Mitch Levin

Service FAQ

How fast can you book a Brooklyn move?
Most studios and one-beds book inside 72 hours. Lease-day weeks — the 1st and 15th — we suggest ten days ahead so we can lock the freight elevator and the ASP permit.
Do you charge extra for stairs?
No stair fee on the first three floors. Fourth and fifth flights add one mover to keep the hourly block from running long — Anthony writes that into the flat figure.
What if the alternate-side ticket lands anyway?
Our Streets and San permit covers the truck’s curb cut. If a ticket still hits because of our truck, we pay it — Yelena handles the reimbursement.
Cash, card, or Zelle?
All three plus check. A $255 deposit holds the date, balance settles when the last box clears the new doorway.
Can you handle Sunday or holiday moves?
Sunday by appointment, holidays case-by-case. Marco runs a small Sunday rotation for co-op approval timelines that fall on weekends.
